Sales Manager (Hospitality & Events)

The Role in a Nutshell:

Managing the B2B and direct sales channels for YAANA Ventures’ eco lodges, Anurak Lodge and Cardamom Tented Camp, as well as the sales for upcoming lodges in remote Asia by our new venture, Visama Lodges. You’ll also take the lead in the creation, coordination and sales for corporate events, such as the YAANA Corporate Challenge.

The Sales Manager plays an important and pro-active role in our commitment to sustainability and responsible travel.

Reporting to: CEO of YAANA Ventures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and develop new business leads for our hospitality projects.
  • Lead a reservation officer in ensuring reservations by travel agents and tour operators, as well as direct enquiries are consistently handled fast and accurately.
  • Define, create and shape the sales towards our B2B segment through regular contact and personal visits to existing and potential new clients.
  • Manage sales though online booking platforms (OTA’s)
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department in strategy and implementation of sales campaigns for both the B2B and B2C segments.
  • Be the face of our hospitality projects; this may include travel to the properties for hosting fam trips or conducting site inspections, as well as attending trade shows and relevant industry events.
  • Monitor and track progress and revenue for our different clients and work towards expanding our account portfolio and bookings.
  • In close cooperation with management of YAANA Ventures, its companies and the Marketing Department, lead the effort to create and effectively sell regular corporate events with a strong sustainability angle.

This role is inclusive of but not limited to the above description; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended from time to time to meet the needs of the business and changing landscape in sustainability practices.

What we’re looking for:

  • Thai national
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Tourism or Business
  • At least 4 years’ work experience in related field
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Positive attitude and sincere desire to lead by supporting others
  • Strong communications skills
  • Responsible team player who can also thrive working independently
